GB4000 + M.O.P.A. Combo
The GB4000 generator paired with the M.O.P.A. (Master Oscillator Power Amplifier) — an updated replica of the original 1930s/1950s plasma tube equipment. Up to 190W of non-contact output through a noble-gas plasma tube, over a 30+ foot range. Sleep, work, read, or move freely while it runs.
Complete kit — GB4000, M.O.P.A. amplifier, plasma tube & reflector. One order from New Zealand.

Hands-Free
No electrodes, no wires, no mats. The M.O.P.A. broadcasts through the air — sleep, watch TV, cook, or work while it runs.
Up to 190W Output
Variable 20W–190W. Almost 2.5× more powerful than the original 1936 instrument, and more powerful than any other plasma tube device on the market.
30–40+ Foot Range
Over 30 feet in all directions without the reflector. Over 40 feet focused forward with the included directional reflector.
Variable RF Carrier
Variable carrier from 2.3–3.7 MHz — exclusive to the M.O.P.A. No other plasma tube instrument has this capability. Produces 100+ harmonic sidebands simultaneously.
8 Frequencies at Once
Run 2 to 8 audio frequencies simultaneously through the plasma tube. No other instrument has this capability. Up to 8× faster than running one at a time.
Complete NZ Kit
Most distributors make you source the generator, plasma tube, and accessories separately. We ship everything together as one complete, tested kit from New Zealand.

What does "non-contact" mean?
Instead of electrodes attached to the body, the M.O.P.A. broadcasts frequencies through the air via the plasma tube. This means the user can move freely within its range — no wires, no mats, no contact required.
Common use cases include sleeping, watching TV, reading, cooking, or working while the unit runs. The closer you are to the tube, the greater the power received — but the full useful range extends to 30+ feet.
Sleep
Run overnight sets while you rest
Work
Keep running while at your desk
Move freely
Walk within its 30+ foot range
Power and range
The M.O.P.A. offers a variable output from 20W up to a maximum 190W — the user has complete control of output intensity via the power dial. This output is broadcast through the Pyrex plasma tube, which can emit frequencies over a very broad range without needing to be tuned.
30+ ft
Without reflector
360° output in all directions around the plasma tube
40+ ft
With directional reflector
180° focused forward — included with the kit
The effective range is based on physiological effect calculations using the Inverse Square Law: the M.O.P.A. delivers 0.21 watts at 30 feet and 0.11 watts at 40 feet. For greatest power absorption, the suggested range is 1 inch to 2 feet from the tube.
The plasma tube
The system uses a noble-gas (Argon/Helium) Pyrex plasma tube, 2 inches round by 14 inches long. It is conduction-lit — meaning there are no internal metal electrodes to contaminate the gas — and ignites instantly. Rated for tens of thousands of hours of use.
Unlike metal antennas, a plasma tube can emit frequencies over a very broad range without being tuned for a specific frequency. The tube is also safe to touch — there is no high-voltage electromagnetic field concern.
NZ kit note: The plasma tube and reflector are matched and tested specifically for the M.O.P.A. circuit for correct power handling. Our NZ kit includes the correct tube ready to go — unlike buying direct from the US manufacturer, where the plasma tube must be sourced separately.
Variable RF carrier — exclusive to the M.O.P.A.
The M.O.P.A. has its own built-in variable carrier frequency covering approximately 2.3 to 3.7 MHz — the same range used by the original 1930s/1950s instruments. A built-in frequency counter allows you to accurately set the carrier frequency before running.
No other plasma tube instrument has a variable carrier frequency. This capability allows broadband sideband frequency sweeps from approximately 1.7 to 4.3 MHz — producing over 100 harmonic sideband frequencies simultaneously, exactly as the original machines did.
Run up to 8 frequencies at once
The GB4000 + M.O.P.A. is the only instrument capable of running up to 8 audio frequencies simultaneously through a plasma tube, up to 40,000 Hz, without frequency degradation. No other plasma tube instrument has this capability.
24 min
Running 8 frequencies
one at a time
3 min
Running 8 frequencies
simultaneously
At the average 3 minutes per frequency, running 8 one at a time takes 24 minutes. The GB4000 + M.O.P.A. runs all 8 in the same 3 minutes. It's like having 8 frequency generators in one.
Everything the GB4000 already does
Because this combo includes the GB4000 generator, you retain all of its core capabilities alongside the M.O.P.A.'s power and range.
